You CAN win the battle against deer and other furry rodents. Alison will discuss deer habits, deer “resistant” plants and deer “candy” plants to avoid (or protect), as well as coping strategies. Her presentation features delightful garden photography. This program combines two of Alison’s passions- photography and gardening. Enjoy!
Certified Master Gardener, Alison Wachstein has been gardening in Weston for over thirty years, and coping with the burgeoning deer population for over twenty five. A Master Photographer and Certified Professional Photographer, Alison Wachstein received her BA in Psychology from Northwestern University. She was an honored photojournalist and lifestyle photographer in Aspen, Colorado and New Jersey and has taught photography at Seton Hall, Fairleigh Dickinson and Fairfield Universities as well as locally.
