Drawing and Painting From Natural Forms
Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. - noon
Class will change to Wednesdays at the end of July.
Learn to develop a natural, individual drawing style using forms from nature as your subject. Materials used are pencil, color pencil, ink, pastel and watercolor. Drawing and painting topics covered include composition, value, color theory and watercolor techniques. Individual instruction, demonstrations and friendly critiques in a supportive environment make this an informative and enjoyable class.
Instructor: Kathie Milligan
Kathie received her MFA in painting in 2007 from the New York Studio School in Manhattan and she earned her undergraduate degree in studio art from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. Kathie has lived in the United States and London, England and has shown work internationally. She is a multi-media artist concentrating on drawing and painting. Presently her time is divided between teaching and landscape painting.
The cost is $25 per class, hosted in the Silver Educational Center. Students of all levels are welcome.
