Youth Education InitiativeThe Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens currently offers several core programs to the youth of the community including school programs, after school programs, outreach programs and a summer camp. The purpose of the Bartlett's Youth Education Initiatives is to increase the scientific literacy and environmental awareness of young people, and to cultivate the next generation of concerned citizens and leaders who have an understanding of key environmental issues and are prepared to act as stewards of our planet.
As a regional resource for science education and a nationally recognized Arboretum, the Bartlett is perfectly positioned to provide students with a unique experience of complete immersion into nature science. Our programming supports the school science curriculum, enhances students appreciation of the importance of protecting the environment, and engages young people in sustainable living initiatives.
