One Amazing Honoree!

For over 40 years, so many of us have had the privilege of working side by side with Alice Smith, volunteer extraordinaire. We have been inspired by her knowledge, wit and unwavering commitment to the Arboretum and the Master Gardener Program. Her many activities and accomplishments are too numerous to list, but there is one thing we all share and that is a special love for Alice.

Naming Unveiling:

During a special tribute to the Bartlett Family, we will officially name the Conifer Garden!

5 Reasons to Support the Bartlett (there are many many more):

  1. Support our 7 sustainable habitats on 93 magnificent acres and our 10 hiking trails.
  2. Help the hundreds of adults who train as certified Master Gardeners and share their knowledge and expertise with the community.
  3. Help maintain our 850 specimen trees and thousands of trees that filter and clean the water flowing to Long Island Sound, buffer the noise and wind, remove ozone and carbon monoxide from the atmosphere, and provide vital oxygen to humans and animals.
  4. Support the 5,000 school children who receive environmental education and will be the future stewards of the Earth.
  5. Aid the 400,000 bees who will visit 225,000 flowers per day at the arboretum during the summer.
