We’ll have an assortment of milk jugs, growing medium, labeling supplies and a limited quantity of seeds from locally grown native plants.  You are welcome to bring your own milk jugs and/or seeds.

We show you how to construct the mini-greenhouse using the milk jug.  We’ll also go through proper seed sowing methods, as well as what to do once they sprout!  We’ll demonstrate proper watering and humidity control, the proper time to transplant the seedlings to a larger pot and how to do that.

The workshop is free, but advance registration is requested.  Children accompanied by a parent are welcome.
