Self-Guided Tour of the Fabulous Fall Foliage

Enjoy the wonderful Fall colors of the great deciduous New England forest by hiking the Bartlett’s nine color coded and marked trails, including the Red Maple Wetlands trail with the longest boardwalk of its kind in New England.  Bring your smart phone and hear interesting stories and fun facts from markers posted throughout the property.  Maps of the trail system are posted at the terrace to the Homestead, the Gazebo in the main parking lot and at the parking lot at the entrance gatehouse.  A personal map can be downloaded from under the “Visit” tab.  Some of the trails are uneven, with exposed tree roots, so flat, comfortable shoes are recommended.
