Spring Plant Sale
May 10, 2014
SATURDAY ONLY! PERFECT FOR MOTHER'S DAY!

Bartlett Arboretum Plant Sales are unique because you get UCONN Certified Master Gardener expertise with each purchase! And this year, there's more!

For the first time, Scalzi Riverwalk Volunteers and other UCONN Master Gardeners have grown hundreds of native plants, shrubs and trees for your gardens. By teaming up with Connecticut’s leading producer of native plants, Earth Tones Nurseries, the Bartlett Arboretum Plant Native/Eat Fresh sale will offer you a wide variety of indigenous, sustainable plants which support the local ecosystem and provide food and shelter for birds, butterflies and other desirable wildlife.

Additionally, Certified Master Gardeners who tend the herb, vegetable and perennial gardens at the Bartlett Arboretum will be offering “Bartlett Arboretum Grown” organic herbs and vegetables as well as beautiful native perennial plants.

If your Mother is an indoor gardener, the Master Gardeners have propagated many houseplants that any mother will love

Proceeds from the Plant Sale will help support scholarships for the summer camp program.
