Forest Hike and Tree Identification:
Join Brad Nagle for a hike through our 71 acre forest to learn about our native trees and how to identify them. Brad will talk about the history of Connecticut forests and what animals call our forest home. We will also talk about how our plants and animals are starting to get ready for winter.

*Rain cancels the program, reservations required, $5 for members, $10 for non-members. Class meets in the Silver Educational Center.
Meditation & Mindfulness

Meditation can be practiced by anyone from any background or religion. In this non-religious, technique-based class you will finally learn what meditation is and how you can practice it at home. This class is specifically designed to demystify this powerful tool that can help each of us deal with the stress and challenges of our lives, families, etc.

$15/class for Members, $20/class for Nonmembers. Call 203 322 6971 to reserve your spot.

Meditation class is taught seated in chairs, so no special dress code or fitness level is required.

Family Fun Nature Awareness Walk

Class will include outdoor walking and light hiking. Please dress accordingly keeping the weather in mind.
