Summer Camp

Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Extended Day: 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Ages: 4- 11 years
(4 year olds enrolled attend half day camp from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with an option to stay for lunch.)

Prices: $300 for Members $350 & for Non-Members
$20/day for extended day

Four year old half day: $150 for Members & $175 for Non-members

Mini Session: $195 for Members & $225 for Non-Members

10 a.m. Joe Trent demonstrates his many wooden Baroque flutes and bass recorders.

Joseph Trent, has performed with the Mexico City Philharmonic, the New York Chamber Ensemble, Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, Greenwich Symphony, New Haven Symphony, North Eastern Philharmonic, Jupiter Symphony, Monadnock Music Festival, Radio City Orchestra and numerous Broadway productions. He has performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Alice Tully Hall, Jordon Hall and numerous concert halls. Mr. Trent holds diplomas from the New England Conservatory and Queens College.

9:30-11:30 Wednesday Mornings Learn to develop a natural, individual drawing style using forms from nature as your subject. Through close observation we will examine various types of organic forms and explore each form's unique qualities. Movement, use of positive and negative space, exaggeration, choice of composition and employment of light are some of the means of imparting individual character to natural forms. Water color, pencil, pen and ink and charcoal are the materials that will lead us to our discoveries. The cost is $20.
Herb Garden Tours

Linda N. Albanese, noted amateur herbalist and member of the American Herb Society, as well as other Master Gardeners responsible for the design and maintenance of the Herb Garden, will be available to discuss specific herbs located in the four quadrants, representing culinary, medicinal, fragrance and economic uses. The tour should last approximately 75 minutes in total. Please meet in the front of the Silver Education Center
