NEW WINTER HOURS:
VISITOR CENTER: The Visitor Reception Desk and the Silver Education
Center will be open to the public on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
during the winter (or during publicized classes and programs as listed on the website)
and by appointment.
GROUNDS: The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens grounds are open to the
public from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. every day of the year. Leashed dogs are welcomed on
the property.
The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is open to the public every day of the year. The grounds are open from 9:00 am till dusk. Admission is free to members and $6.00 per adult. Children under the age of 12 are free and Wednesdays are free to all.
The Silver Educational Center is open everyday, 10:00am - 4:00pm and is closed on national holidays. Please call for weekend Visitor Center hours. The Visitor Center houses a horticulture resource library, Arboretum staff offices, a small gallery that features a variety of art exhibits and a plant clinic open during the growing season.
Unfortunately, the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is not handicapped accessible.
Visitors to the Arboretum are allowed to walk their dog on the forest trails. Stamford charter and city code Section 111-1 through 111-12 requires that dogs be leashed at all times on the property and that visitors pick up after their dog. There is a $50 fine for any violation of these sections for the first offense and $100 fine for each subsequent offense. Thank you for your cooperation. |
