The Latest Addition to the Bartlett Arboretum Family!

We are proud to announce that the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens has recently accepted delivery from Honda of Westport of a new, hybrid 2012 Honda Insight Hatchback that gets approximately 45mpg. This special purchase was made possible by the generous donors who attended our Gala to celebrate the opening of the new Silver Educational Center and it fulfills a need and dream of our Children's Education department under the direction of Todd DuPont and Children's Educator Brad Nagle.

This vehicle will be a valued asset and important catalyst to the expansion and enhancement of the Bartlett Arboretum's community outreach to programs at the Yerwood Center, St. Luke's Lifeworks, The Boys and Girls Club, and other local organizations benefitting underserved and at risk children. Executive Director of Operations, Peter Saverine shares, "This highly anticipated new hybrid vehicle not only is in tune with our sustainable mission, but it will help us bring an appreciation of nature to the children and families of our greater Stamford community. We are most thankful for this gift from our donors."
