Internships
The Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens in Stamford, CT, is looking for self motivated and responsible applicants for internships during the summer 2007 season.
These positions are open to all students in Botany, Horticulture, Landscape Design and related fields. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to perform a wide variety of tasks depending upon interests and background, including general garden maintenance, tree and shrub care, greenhouse care, minor garden construction, botanical science, and herbarium work. This internship will be an excellent opportunity for any undergraduate student to enhance their knowledge of plant identification and ecology. The Bartlett Arboretum is a private, not for profit organization. Applicants must be able to perform physical labor outdoors under a variety of conditions. Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Sunday(5 day work week). Compensation is $10.00 per hour For further information and to apply please contact Collections Manager Eric C.
