The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is open to the public every day of the year from 9:00am to sunset. There is a $6.00 admission charge for adults. Admission is free to members and children under the age of 12; Wednesdays are free to all.
The Bartlett Visitor Center, once the home of noted dendrologist Dr. Francis A. Bartlett, is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm and is closed on national holidays. The Visitor Center houses a horticulture resource library, Arboretum staff offices, a small gallery that features a variety of art exhibits and a plant clinic open during the growing season.
The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is not handicapped accessible.
Visitors to the Arboretum are allowed to walk their dog on the forest trails. Stamford charter and city code Section 111-1 through 111-12 requires that dogs be leashed at all times on the property and that visitors pick up after their dog. There is a $50 fine for any violation of these sections for the first offense and $100 fine for each subsequent offense. Thank you for your cooperation.
