Join Adam Wheeler from Broken Arrow Nursery for a hands-on workshop exploring the science of propagating plants from cuttings. Adam will cover the basics of cutting propagation, including choosing the right plant material, when and how to take cuttings, creating the right conditions for rooting, and caring for them as they develop. Whether you’re new to propagation or looking to improve your success, this workshop will give you practical techniques and tips you can put to use in your own garden.

Please meet in the Silver Educational Center Adult Classroom. Attendees will have the chance to go outside and collect plant cuttings, so dress appropriately! Each participant will take home a pot of freshly prepared cuttings, complete with a humidity bag to help maintain moisture and encourage rooting at home.
