The Stewartia Collection includes several species, such as the japanese stewartia and Korean stewartia. The phenotypic differences between these two are very limited, which has resulted in some confusion as to what species is what. Stewartias are renowned for their four season interest, due to their showy bark, long bloom window, and excellent fall color.
